School Trip Day 3

Machiya is a traditional house.
The front is small but the depth is long.
Machiya can make us feel Kyoto culture.

A clerk taught us how Kyoto made otabe.
Otabe is a traditional Kyoto sweet made with cinnamon.

We made original and special shape otabe with green tea, sesame and bean jam.Hand made otabe were very tasty!

This is a picture in front of Sanjusangen-do. There are about 1000 Buddhist deities inside. Too powerful!! I heard a Buddhist say that one of the deities looks like me.
I couldn't find it. All Buddhist deities were powerful and I could feel history there.

We came back to Tokyo from Kyoto on the Shinkansen bullet train Nozomi which travels at 270km/h.We played UNO card games.
The students behind were watching us.
Maybe they wanted to play together with us.
We have many good memories of the school trip.

We made a school trip booklet. We collected information from books and the Internet. Our booklet is useful for us.
