School Trip Day 2

Yoshinobu, the fifteenth Tokugawa Shogun returned sovereignty to the Emperor in 1867 at Nijo-jo Castle. We were very happy to see the famous Ohiroma room used for historical events.

There are many beautiful gardens in Nijo-jo Castle.I felt very pleasant.

Kinkaku-ji Temple was shiny covered with gold more than we had imagined before. We could see another Kinkaku-ji in Kyoko-pond. Everyone should see Kinkaku-ji once in their life.

We looked at the display of the big American bomb that fell on the city of Hirosima in 1945 and also saw an old house, old toys and books. We understood the lives of those days. This World War ‡Uexhibition at the Peace Museum made me fearful. I hope there are no more wars.

Here we were in front of Ginkaku-ji Temple. Ginkaku-ji Temple is quiet. Ginkaku-ji Temple is calmer than Kinkaku-ji Temple.

Ginsyadan and Kogetsudai are beautiful. They represent sea waves and Mt Fuji.
